The path to speech therapy
The speech therapy is a contract of the statutory health insurance and can be prescribed by doctors of various disciplines. The therapy takes place in one-to-one sessions, once or twice a week for 45 minutes.
Depending on the prescription, the treatment takes place in my practice or at your home or nursing home.
The following doctors can prescribe a speech therapy:
- pediatricians
- General practitioner / internist
- neurologists
- Otolaryngologists
- dentists
- Orthodontists
